Support for Peace in the Middle East
In January 2003, Juhree led the first coactive coaching course in Israel, creating a hunger for coactive coaching and leadership. From this first group of participants came a small group of committed Israelis who made Coactive Coaching Courses a regular offering in Israel, starting in March 2004. There are now over 400 graduates of In the Bones, many CPCC's, nearly 20 graduates of the CTI Leadership Prgram, with several more people.in Leadership training as of March 2008.
From 2004 to 2007, Juhree hosted regular “Coactivity in the Middle East” calls which have attracted attendees from CTI administration, Israel, Europe, the USA and Canada. Through connections on this call, several Leadership projects have been supported, including:
- The Israeli Coaching Mentoring Program, which matched over 30 new Israeli coaches with North American certified coaches for 6 or more months.
- Leaders for Peace, which has sponsored two pairs of Israeli/Arab participants in the Leadership program, with a view to their creating programs to promote understanding and peace in Israel.
- Conversations with Other: weekly telephone dialogue with one Israeli and one Palestinian, finding individuals who are willing to talk. These conversations have been conducted by qualified Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaches and have provided an opportunity for people with fundamental differences to speak to each other respectfully.
- Other projects such as bringing together parents of soldiers killed in both sides of the Arab/Israeli conflicts to discuss their common grief and create new, peaceful bonds.
In November 2007, Juhree was the keynote speaker at a major business conference on Strategy and Implementation in Business Planning in Tel Aviv. She spoke on “The Power of a Comprehensive Management Coaching Program” &ndash Coaching as a Valuable Business Tool for Planning and Implementing Strategies. She also led a breakout workshop at the conference on coaching skills for managers, “Have Fun and Get the Job Done.”
